SFDF Parliamentary Reception – A Celebration of Innovation
The spectacular Garden Lobby at the Scottish Parliament was the venue for SFDF's
annual Parliamentary reception, where we played host to over 150 MSPs, senior
industry figures and influential stakeholders. The aim of the event was to
highlight the crucial role food and drink manufacturing plays in driving growth
by
adding value through innovation.

FDF President's Dinner
Speaking at annual President's Dinner, at which Business Secretary Dr Vince
Cable was guest of honour, FDF President Jim Moseley outlined how food and
drink
manufacturing has remained resilient throughout the recession, and continued to
invest in innovation to meet changing consumer demands at home and abroad.

BCCC 2011 Annual Conference: Working Together for a Healthy Future
This event has been a regular feature in the industry's calendar for almost 60
years, primarily as a technology conference.
The 2011 confernece, was more inclusive than ever, with sessions on Nutrition
&
Health, Labelling, Food Choices & Obesity in the Young and The State of the
Industry.
Speakers included some of the most respected figures in their fields.

Guideline Daily Amounts Adopters Forum 2010: Bringing GDAs to Life in Your

SFDF / IFST / REHIS Symposium 2010 – The Future of Food: understanding the
importance of technology options
Over 95 representatives from the food and drink industry, government, regulators
and other key stakeholders attended the SFDF 8th Annual Symposium on 22 April
2010 in Edinburgh.
Hosted in conjunction with the Institute of Food Science and Technology and The
Royal
Environmental Health Institute of Scotland, it lived up to expectations by
setting the scene in helping to identify solutions to the pressures facing the
future
of the industry

For over 55 years the BCCC Annual Conference has brought together food
