BCCC Annual Conference: Looking Forward to Sweet Success

For over 55 years the BCCC Annual Conference has brought together food scientists and technologists, new product development experts, engineers, production and marketing executives.

Over one and a half days they hear the latest thinking on the broad range of developments and issues shaping the food industry as a whole and have a unique opportunity to discuss their implications with colleagues from throughout the sector and beyond.

The 57th Annual Conference is entitled Looking Forward to Sweet Success, with sessions covering Food Chain Issues, Waste & Sustainability, Ethical Sourcing, Ingredients & Nutrients and Legal & Consumer Pressures.

Speakers include: Dr Peter Jones of Waste2Tricity and Professor Jeya Henry of Oxford Brookes University.

A keynote presentation on 'UK Economic Situation & Outlook' will be given by Lai Wah Co of the Confederation of British Industry's (CBI).

Key drivers for success and the importance of innovation are reflected in many of the presentations.
