During the Games there will be 10,000+ non-Olympic international media based in
London. This offers a unique opportunity to promote the strength of the British
food and drink industry and our export potential to a global audience.
On the
9th August, as part of a series of high-level British Business Embassy events,
UKTI is organising a one-day Food & Drink conference.
The planned media event
will
run independent of, but parallel with, the UKTI conference at Lancaster House.
The media event will be hosted and opened by Secretary of State Caroline
Spelman.
