ADBA Anaerobic Digestion R&D Strategy Forum

Back to events

6 November 2012

Event, The Watershed, Bristol

The Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas Association, in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network, WRAP and the Food and Environment Research Agency, have organised a research and development forum to finalise a short, medium and long term R&D strategy to support the growth of the AD industry and help it realise its full potential.

Anaerobic digestion technology is one of the key solutions for helping food and drink manufacturers divert waste from landfill. However there are limited numbers of AD plants across the country and a proportion of these have problems separating the wastes from food and drink companies.

The industry has suffered from a lack of R&D in key areas to date. This event will bring together industry and academia with a view to ensuring that R&D spend in future is focused where it is most needed.
