Non Member £50.00

All prices exclude VAT.

From Monday 12 March 2018 all regulated lobbying in Scotland, as defined in the Lobbying (Scotland) Act, will have to be registered on Scotland’s new Lobbying Register. FDF Scotland, in partnership with Professional Affiliate CMS is holding an event that will help you understand what this means for your business.

Regulated lobbying includes face-to-face communication with MSPs, Scottish Government Ministers, Scottish Government Special Advisers or the Scottish Government Permanent Secretary and which relates to Scottish Government or parliamentary functions. If you actively engage with MSPs or the Scottish Government on behalf of your company – this event is for you!

Stuart MacLean, Partner at CMS and Billy McLaren, Lobbying Registrar at the Scottish Parliament will bring to life what the Act means for your business. This will include relevant scenarios of when your company would need to register and when you wouldn’t. These examples will be focused specifically on the food and drink industry.

This will be an informal roundtable event with plenty of time for questions. Registration is from 9.30am with the event starting at 10am and closing at 12pm.
