Transitioning to ISO 14001:2015 training course

A one-day day course aimed at individuals responsible for implementing or maintaining an Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001. The course includes the following learning outcomes:

  • An overview of the new requirements of ISO 14001:2015, their purpose and intended outcome;
  • Practical guidance to enable learners to understand how the changes relate to and apply to their own organisation;
  • Project managing the transition process; and
  • Facilitated workshops to support delegates in developing their knowledge on how to address key clauses, including but not limited to:
    •  Understanding the organisation and its context
    • Understanding the needs and expectation of interested parties
    • Leadership
    • Life cycle thinking.

 At the end of the course, delegates will understand the changes to ISO 14001:2015 and their intent, and be able to identify and plan actions to enable their organisation to conform to, and realise the benefits of, the new standard.

 

Who should attend?

  • Existing environmental managers, coordinators or other individuals with involvement or responsibility for ISO 14001 performance management.
  • Existing quality and/or health and safety practitioners planning to become more involved in ISO 14001, or wanting to understand the practical implementation of Annex SL.
