FDF Small Business Forum

FREE event

During 2019 we’ve been delighted to welcome some smaller companies in to FDF membership. As a result we have launched our new forum to focus on the issues of particular interest to these growing businesses.

We would like to invite you to our first Small Business Forum on 14 October 2019 at the FDF offices 2-4pm.

The forums will include presentations from FDF staff on key industry issues and from some of our professional affiliates who are experts in legal, risk management and financial issues.

With the political uncertainty continuing, and businesses still being advised to prepare for all eventualities,  FDF CEO Ian Wright CBE will bring the meeting up to speed on the latest situation, what else businesses might need to do and what the post-Brexit trading environment looks like.

We will also be joined by retail technology expert Miya Knights.  With traditional, store-based retailing facing more intense competition from online than ever before, Miya will explore what food and drink manufacturers and brands can learn from the digitally enabled and data-driven businesses that are winning with consumers today. She will share the reasons why having as clear of view of who your selling to as you do of what it is your selling is the new industry battleground that will distinguish the future winners from the losers.

Free event but places limited.

FDF and FDFS members only. Priority will be given to companies with a UK turnover below £50m.

If you are a larger company and wish to attend please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please email members.enquiries@fdf.org.uk

Please note: Due to the current political uncertainty, events may be subject to short notice cancellation and changes. Regrettably we cannot refund any travel or accommodation expenses in these circumstances.
