Webinar: FDM BRef: Step Change or No Change?

FREE event

The updated Food, Drink and Milk BAT Reference Document (FDM BRef) is due to be issued by October 2019. This webinar covers the specific requirements of the BRef, highlighting the changes from the previous 2006 version. It will also discuss the expectations of the environmental regulator: what is the timetable for compliance and are there any opportunities to present alternative approaches? Permitted sites will understand the expectations in relation to compliance with the BRef and the interactions with their regulator.

This webinar will be presented by Richard Wood – Senior Managing Consultant, Ramboll.

Richard joined Ramboll in August 2018, and provides a lead role in advice and management of Environmental Permitting and environmental COMAH issues as part of the Compliance Strategy and Transactions team in the UK. Richard has nearly 20 years experience in the environmental sector, working as a regulator (Environment Agency) and as a consultant (URS/AECOM).

Richard has been involved in the preparation of full applications, variations and surrenders, as well as preparing BAT justifications against recent BREF updates and requirements of the Industrial Emissions Directive.

Richard has experience across a wide range of industrial activities, including food and drink activities, and has experience liaising with all UK environmental regulatory bodies on permit applications and derogation applications in both Great Britain and Northern Ireland
