Webinar: Get Ready for Brexit - Indirect Tax and Managing Costs and Cashflow

FREE event

In this webinar we look in detail at two areas where Food and Drink businesses can take practical ‘no regrets’ action to get ready for Brexit:  indirect tax and managing costs and cashflow.

Indirect tax impacts food and drink business in many ways  including tariffs on imports and exports, new customs processes and VAT.  There are a number of actions all business should take now and a variety of options to mitigate impact and seize opportunities.

Tariffs and customs administration are two drivers of increased costs. Food and drink businesses should be prepare for cost rises in a number of other areas too – including a weak £ and increased labour costs. Suppliers and customers may already be delaying payments and creating cashflow difficulties, which a no-deal Brexit or continued uncertainty will exacerbate.  Managing cashflow and cost will be a critical part of your Brexit response.

As part of our Brexit Readiness programme, we are hosting a webinar with experts from Grant Thornton to look at cash and cost management and indirect taxes.

They will look at the impact of Brexit in these areas, identify the key things to focus on, ‘no regrets’ actions that will prepare you for any eventuality,  and share insights on what other businesses are doing.  They will provide a framework for Brexit preparation that works for all eventualities, share tips, and take your questions.

Please register by 5pm on 23 October to secure your space. Late registrations cannot be guaranteed.

This webinar is delivered by FDF and Grant Thornton UK LLP with funding support from BEIS.
