Food Processors Association (FPA)

The Food Processors Association was formed as an “umbrella group” for four separate sector associations:

  • Pickles and Sauces Association (PSA)
  • Soup, Gravy and Produce Processors Association (SGPPA)
  • UK Sweet Spreads Association (UKSSA)
  • Deserts and Cake Mixes Association (DCMA)

Following discussions with members during 2007, it was decided to maintain these sector associations “in name only” for lobbying purposes. These associations and their assets were therefore integrated into FPA with effect from 1 January 2008. FPA was then dismantled in 2011 and companies were invited to join FS3G.
