Our professional affiliate membership

FDF has developed a Professional Affiliate package tailored to the needs of businesses interested in developing their links with the UK food and drink manufacturing industry.

Take a Big Bite of the Market

Food and drink manufacturing is a growing sector, boasting the biggest global names and ambitious entrepreneurs. The size of our sector outstrips all other manufacturing sectors, our exports are growing and we employ around 400,000 people in the UK, which includes 34,000 in Scotland.

We can help you connect with them by becoming an FDF Professional Affiliate.

What is a Professional Affiliate

Professional Affiliate members are drawn from sectors that want to work with food and drink manufacturers. Our members include banks, law firms, insurers, PR & communications agencies and consultancies focused on energy, waste & environment amongst others.

Membership provides a unique opportunity to network in the industry and increase your brand profile. Please note, as the membership body for food and drink manufacturing we get many approaches from organisations wanting to partner with us but we only work with Professional Affiliate members.

This membership package provides companies with exposure to over 300 FDF manufacturing members and access to food industry insight and intelligence.

By becoming a Professional Affiliate, your organisation will benefit from an enhanced profile to the UK food industry through opportunities to promote your services to food and drink manufacturers of all sizes who together comprise the single largest manufacturing sector in the UK, with a turnover of £70bn, employing around 400,000 people.

Activities involving professional affiliates

The member engagement opportunities that we offer for Professional Affiliates will vary year-on-year. So far in 2016 we have partnered with affiliate members at The Big Bang Fair at the Birmingham NEC, our flagship Food & Drink Industry Dinner and inaugural FDF Convention, our series of Sales Directors' Forums as well as roundtables on Brexit, Crisis Management and the UN Global Compact initiative.
