FDF Response to the EC on Reform of the CAP towards 2020: Consultation Document

In November 2010, as part of the preparation of legislative proposals for reform
of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the European Commission (EC) launched
a
consultation for the impact assessment.
Stakeholders were invited to respond by January 2011 to a written consultation
for the 'Impact Assessment on the “Common Agricultural Policy towards 2020”
proposals'. FDF provided a written response to the EC's questions based upon
previously agreed responses on CAP reform and discussions held at FDF's Trade
Committee.
The EC's Impact Assessment will take into account contributions to this
consultation. Relevant elements will be integrated in the Impact Assessment
report and a
chapter will be dedicated to the consultation process, its main results and
participants. The report is expected to be published in summer 2011.
