FSA Consultation on its Future Surveillance Work on Environmental Contaminants

FDF has made a submission to FSA in response to its consultation on its Future Surveillance Work on Environmental Contaminants. The proposals include a survey of 'inorganic and total arsenic in rice', targeted studies on 'brominated and perfluorinated compounds in food', a survey for the 'presence of phthalates in food' and follow-up work to its previous research projects on the 'uptake of dioxins into animals' and the 'contamination of milk from cows grazed on contaminated floodplains.'
