FDF has made a submission to the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition
(SACN) in response to its consultation on its draft report on Folate and Disease
Prevention. The Report reviews and assesses the evidence on the health benefits
and risks associated with dietary folate. It makes a recommendation for
mandatory fortification of flour in the UK.
