As Brexit comes back onto the radar with the end of the transition period, 31 December 2020, food labelling in a post Brexit landscape becomes an urgent for the food and drink sector. This webinar will address the impact of Brexit on labelling for food and drink products, for sales in both the EU and the UK markets. This will include consideration of the name and address of the Food Business Operator, Country of Origin labelling, use of the EU Organic Logo and EU Emblem, Protected Geographical Indications (PGIs) and Health and Identification Marks for Products of Animal Origin.

Nicola Smith, Director at Squire Patton Boggs will lead the webinar.

Nicola Smith is a regulatory lawyer at a global law firm, with compliance expertise including regulatory laws on food safety and information (as well general product compliance, safety and recall, licensing and road vehicle/ driver laws).  She acts for a wide range of businesses and has provided training and advice to clients and externally on food law requirements.
