Webinar: Business Opportunities for British Companies in Australia's Food and Agribusiness Market

FREE event

The UK Food and Drink Federation and Victorian State Government of Australia invite companies to join an interactive session to hear from industry experts and a leading Australian supermarket about business opportunities in Australia’s food and agribusiness market.

Now in its 24th year of uninterrupted growth, Australia is one of the world’s strongest economies.  With a stable business environment, rapidly growing population and strong familiarity with British products due to long-standing migration links, Australia is an exceptional market for British companies to invest in.

Australia is also ‘The Food Bowl to Asia’ with over 58 per cent of its food sold overseas to a growing share of Asian markets seeking safe, reliable products with particular emphasis in value-added food categories.  With Asia’s food demand set to double by 2050 and crucial Free Trade Agreements established with China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, Australia is the ideal, low-risk platform from which to access Asia.
