Frequently Asked Questions

What are the FDF Awards?

The awards are fast becoming the industry benchmark of excellence for innovation, competitiveness and talent. Each year, companies from across the food and drink supply chain enter the FDF Awards and about 500 guests celebrate together the winners at the FDF Awards ceremony.

Whether your company has lead a significant project that you are proud of, or a colleague of yours had done a tremendous job in their role, find an award category that suits you by visiting fdf.org.uk/awards.

What do I get if I win an FDF Award?

You get the national recognition you deserve, and be part of the prestigious award-winning companies the industry looks up to!

We will be proud to list a case study of your award on our website, that will be published on our website from the day after the ceremony until the following year's announcing of new shortlist. They are put forward during the launch of the following year's awards to give new entrants an idea of what remarkable work can be done!

We award you with a beautiful trophy on the night of the ceremony, engraved with your company name and the title of the award.

Our photographer will be taking pictures throughout the ceremony and captures each winner on the stage when receiving their trophy. Photos are available online the next day. We also have a video of the evening available the day after.

We send you an official FDF Awards 'winner' logo that you can then use on any collateral (for your website, marketing material, corporate e-mail signature, etc). If you are shortlisted, you get a 'finalist' logo.

We make sure to post as much as possible on social media, throughout the whole period of time between the shortlist results and the winners' announcement. There is also a dedicated press release that we send out to relevant press contacts on both the shortlist and the winners.

Lastly, your entry will be reviewed by a judging panel of experts in their field and with senior experience in the food and drink industry. Their precious feedback will help you improve your entry and make your case for the following year's awards.
