Our annual awards celebrate the diversity, dynamism, and dedication of those who work in the food and drink industry.

Join us for an evening of fantastic food and drink, great company, and suspense as we reveal the winners of our FDF Awards 2023!

FDF Event Cancellation Policy

Please note that we can only refund the full cost of the booking up to 30 calendar days before the event and 50% for up to 10 calendar days before the event, after which regrettably no refund is available.

You may transfer your booking to a colleague with three working days notice to the organise.

Attended by over 500 guests, our Awards Ceremony is a prestigious evening of great food and drink, catching up with colleagues and celebrating the achievements of the UK's thriving food and drink sector.

Following on from the phenomenal success of our sold-out 2022 awards, we are very excited to announce we are moving to a magnificent new venue for 2023… The Roundhouse!

The Roundhouse is one of the most incredible live performance spaces in the world where the biggest names in music, theatre, circus and spoken word take to the stage every day. It has hosted legendary artists from all over the world including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Ed Sheeran, Jay-Z and Adele.

19:30 - Dinner service (approx 90 minutes)
21:00 - Awards ceremony (approx 60 minutes)

Host

Grace Dent is an award-winning restaurant critic for The Guardian. She also appears as a regular guest judge on MasterChef, and hosts the chart-topping Guardian podcast, Comfort Eating.

She may be intimidating to some (especially ambitious amateur chefs) but Grace’s warm personality and wonderful sense of humour place joy and comedy at the heart of all she does.

Grace has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, Sky Art’s Book Club, Between The Covers, Mastermind, The Review Show, Britain’s Greatest Comedy Character, The Culture Show, Very British Problems, The Apprentice, and Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe.

Grace has hosted The World’s Most Expensive Buffet, Best of Britain by the Sea, and The World Cook. Her presenting extends to radio broadcasting where Grace is a regular on the airwaves on BBC Radio 2 on Christmas Day, and hosts The Untold on BBC Radio 4, a series documenting the untold dramas of twenty first-century Britain. It has twice been nominated for an ARIA.
