Sustainable Palm Oil

Guidance/Toolkit

Palm oil is the world's most widely used vegetable oil. It appears as an ingredient in many food and non-food products, such as soaps, biscuits, cosmetics, animal feed and cleaning products.

FDF has developed a guide with the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET)* called Sustainable Palm Oil: Five Steps to ensure Responsible Sourcing.

This toolkit also contains a Q&A on sustainable palm oil and a Sustainable Palm Oil Supplier Questionnaire.

* CPET has since closed. It was run by LTS and Efeca, who continue their work with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
