Trade Snapshot: Q1 2022

The FDF’s newly released snapshot analyses trends in trade for UK food and drink in the first quarter of 2022 compared with 12 months previously.
The report shows imports and exports of food and drink with non-EU countries have soared above pre-pandemic levels for the first time and it focuses on trade with Canada and India, which have both seen a strong return to growth. Both markets are important suppliers to our industry but also increasingly important destinations for our exports.
