Food and Drink Federation (FDF) Cymru is the Welsh division of the Food and Drink Federation which represents food and drink manufacturers across the UK. Our membership is made up of food and drink companies of all sizes, from small family businesses through to major global brands.
The Welsh food and drink industry is an economic success story and a vital part of the Welsh national identity. It employs 24,300 people in over 550 businesses across Wales and has a £5.2bn turnover.
We make sure our members' views are heard by the Welsh Government and in the Senedd Cymru, as well as by relevant policy makers in the UK Government, including the Wales Office, so they are able to provide an environment in which the sector can thrive.
Our contribution is supported by the collective excellence of the FDF team and focuses on Welsh specific work within the areas of competitiveness, EU transition, Covid-19 recovery, workforce and skills, diet and health, sustainability and industry growth.
