Shaping a healthier future through food and drink is the FDF’s flagship health campaign, which highlights the ongoing work of food and drink manufacturers to support the nation's health and how we can drive further progress.
This category celebrates the work of food and drink manufacturers to support healthier diets, from developing healthier products to nudging consumers to healthier choices.
Our judges will be looking for manufacturers of all types and sizes who have taken bold steps to support healthier diets and help consumers achieve dietary goals.
Entries must focus on one of the following initiatives:
- Healthier product innovation or reformulation projects to reduce the salt, sugar, calories, fat and/or increase fruit, vegetable, or fibre servings, and through portion control.
- Initiatives that nudge consumers to healthier choices for example (but not limited to): communication activities, supermarket trials, advertising campaigns, or labelling approaches.
We recognise that local initiatives are also important in supporting communities and workforces to live healthier lives and for entries relating to this, please visit our Outstanding Community Partner Award.
