Our Net Zero Programme
Scotland’s food and drink industry faces both urgent challenges and exciting opportunities on the journey towards Net Zero by 2045. While many producers and manufacturers have already made great strides, we must do more, and faster.
FDF Scotland hosts the Net Zero Programme on behalf of the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership, of which FDFS is a member. The programme is funded by the Scottish Government and forms a central part of the Partnership’s Net Zero Commitment: to ensure net zero food and drink products are available on supermarket shelves by 2045.
The Programme exists to ensure that every business in Scotland’s food and drink industry understands what net zero means, knows the direction we’re heading, and has the tools to get there.
Whether you're just starting out or already making progress, the Net Zero Programme is here to provide leadership, practical advice, and tailored support to help you succeed. A full range of resources, case studies, and guidance is available on the Scotland Food & Drink website.
