Tate & Lyle strengthened its leadership in nutrition science by delivering “The Invisible Power of Fibre” workshop in Brazil, empowering customers with practical, evidence-based insights into fibre’s role in health and product innovation.

In 2025, Tate & Lyle continued to strengthen its global leadership in nutrition science and fibre education through “The Invisible Power of Fibre workshop” in Brazil. This workshop aimed to elevate scientific understanding of fibre’s role in digestive health, bone health, glycaemic control, prebiotic benefits, and product differentiation—particularly within the dairy category, where fibre fortification presents meaningful innovation opportunities. To make scientific concepts accessible and practical, sessions incorporated interactive activities, including a true/false quiz to address common fibre misconceptions, the use of a bone model to demonstrate the link between fibre and mineral absorption, and a hands-on exercise illustrating glycaemic response. These elements helped translate complex nutrition science into actionable insights for product development. Discussions also focused on opportunities to enhance product nutrition profiles using Tate & Lyle’s fibre portfolio, supported by scientific evidence and category-specific applications. Overall, this 2025 activity demonstrates strong regional progress in building nutrition capability, expanding scientific engagement, and strengthening Tate & Lyle’s position as a trusted partner in fibre innovation.
