Natalie Verner, Senior Sustainability Policy Executive, FDF

Natalie leads on food waste policy at the Food and Drink Federation, which represents the UK’s 12,000 food and drink manufacturers. She works closely with government, industry and civil society to develop policy positions, provide guidance and thought leadership, and create collaboration across the food system. Through FDF’s Ambition 2030 programme, she supports members at every stage of their sustainability journey to reduce food waste and increase redistribution. She brings 16 years’ experience across food manufacturing, retail, international government departments and trade associations, alongside an MSc in Food Security and hands‑on surplus food redistribution volunteering.

 

Judith Richardson, Associate Partner, Argon & Co

Judith leads Argon & Co UK's Food & Drink practice, working with leaders of complex, global, multi-tiered supply chains to transform their operations to be more successful, sustainable, and resilient. Her key areas of expertise include optimising costs, reducing waste, upskilling teams, and leveraging advantaged technologies, automation, and AI.

 

Camilla Young, Programme Lead - Next Generation of Barcodes, GS1 UK

Camilla Young is on a mission to change the way the world shops. As Programme Lead for the next generation of barcodes at GS1 UK, she is driving the industry-wide shift to QR codes powered by GS1: technology that will redefine how we experience products, from farm to checkout. Camilla joined GS1 UK from Johnson & Johnson where she led customer value creation and commercial strategy across their baby, beauty & oral care portfolio which included brands such as Listerine, Johnson’s Baby, Aveeno and Neutrogena. She has over 20 years’ experience in the retail industry, working across a broad range of retailers, brands and categories through commercial roles at Hasbro, Bic & Pernod Ricard.

 

Clive Stephens, Head of Research & Development. Cranswick PLC

Clive brings 50 years of experience across the Meat & Food industry, spanning manufacturing and retail. His career began in 1975 and includes seven years as Head of R&D at Cranswick PLC, followed by 17 years with Cranswick Convenience Foods as Operations and Technical Director. He spent 13 years at Sainsbury’s PLC as a Senior Meat/Food Technologist covering Meat, Fish, Poultry, Ready Meals, and Frozen Foods. Clive also held roles at Cargill International and Christian Salvesen across production and distribution.

 

William Miles, Group R&D Manager, Cranswick PLC

William brings 11 years in the food industry working for Cranswick Plc. William is Food Science and Nutrition BSc trained, technical food safety management and quality management system implementation.
