FDF Scotland Scottish Parliament Election hustings
With the Scottish Parliament Election fast approaching – and 40 MSPs stepping down – this election is set to reshape Scotland’s political landscape.
We are hosting a food and drink industry‑themed hustings event for members and invited guests. This is a key event in our programme of political engagement to champion the interests of Scotland’s food and drink manufacturers and to strengthen relationships with parties and candidates.
We have a representative from each of the main political parties confirmed to take part in the hustings:
-
Kim Schmulian (Reform UK Scotland)
-
Miles Briggs MSP (Scottish Conservatives)
- Dan Heap (Scottish Green Party)
- Daniel Johnson MSP (Scottish Labour Party)
- Wendy Chamberlain MP (Scottish Liberal Democrats)
-
Euan Hyslop (Scottish National Party)
Each party representative will deliver a short opening statement before we move into a Q&A session chaired by FDF Scotland’s CEO, David Thomson.
This is your opportunity to ask questions directly and take part in an open discussion about the next Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government’s plans for our sector.
The session will close with informal drinks and networking.
Places are full, email info@fdfscotland.org.uk to join the waiting list.
