PackUK: Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) 2027
Join the FDF and PackUK for a one-hour webinar on the Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) 2027.
Published in July, RAM 2027 sets out the technical criteria that will determine whether packaging is classified as recyclable or non-recyclable under the UK’s packaging Extended Producer Responsibility scheme.
The updated methodology introduces a number of important changes that could affect packaging design decisions, compliance requirements and future modulated fee assessments.
During the session, PackUK will provide:
- An overview of the key changes
- Explain the reasoning behind them
- Address the practical questions and concerns raised by FDF members
The webinar will also help businesses understand how to interpret the updated methodology and identify any actions they may need to take ahead of its implementation.
Members are invited to submit questions by emailing ben.fiennes@fdf.org.uk by 10th August. These will be shared with PackUK to help shape the session and ensure it focuses on the issues most relevant to the industry.
