We’re looking for a motivated and curious individual to support our team as we engage with the newly formed Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government. You’ll monitor key political and policy developments, support colleagues with stakeholder engagement, and help produce informative briefings for members.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting our engagement with the new Scottish Parliament and Scottish. Government, including monitoring ministerial priorities and parliamentary activity. Assisting with the planning and delivery of parliamentary receptions, party conference events, and stakeholder meetings.
- Monitoring political and policy developments and producing concise briefings for colleagues and members.
- Drafting communications for newsletters, the FDF website, and email alerts.
- Providing research and administrative support to the FDF Scotland team.
What we’re looking for:
- A graduate in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
- A keen interest in UK and Scottish politics and public policy.
- Working knowledge of UK and Scottish political processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working for a MSP, MP or in a related public affairs role would be beneficial.
