Seafood Industry Alliance (SIA) committee is run jointly by the FDF and the Provision Trade Federation (PTF) in service of both organisations' seafood members. The PTF provides the secretariat to the group and all papers and information on committee meetings are held in a dedicated area of the PTF website.
Committee purpose
The UK Seafood Industry Alliance provides a broadly based, clear and compelling voice at national and international level to meet the full range of challenges in providing consumers with secure, affordable, nutritious and sustainable fishery products.
It helps secure long term growth through improved access to the raw materials needed, and ensures that it attracts the necessary investment and skills to boost productivity in supplying food that plays a key role in the health of the nation.
