The EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) is a notification system operated by the European Commission to exchange information on identified hazards between EU Member States and implicated third countires.
The FDF provides its members with a summary of EU RASFF alerts impacting food products on a weekly basis which can be used as a horizon scanning tool to conduct risk assessments.
FDF members can view the lastest RASFF summaries
To receive a weekly email when a new RASFF summary is available, members are asked to go to 'Preferences' and add 'RASFF' as an 'Area of interest' - you will find it under 'Food safety & science'.
