Food and Drink Industry Dinner 2017
Every year, around 500 guests attend the awards ceremony, a prestigious evening of good
food and drink, catching up with colleagues and celebrating the achievements of the UK's thriving food and drink sector.
Led by the University of Exeter Business School, this event explores the opportunities and challenges faced by, SMEs in the food and beverages manufacturing industry as they transition towards the circular economy.
FDF's Helen Munday will be speaking at this Westminster Food & Nutrition Forum conference. Their event will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders to discuss the policy priorities for the UK food supply chain and for the Groceries Code Adjudicator. Scotland Policy Conferences seminar will discuss the challenges and opportunities for inward investment, economic growth and international trade, in light of the EU referendum result. Guests of Honour: Lord Dunlop, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Scotland Office and Michael Russell MSP, Minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland's Place in Europe, The Scottish Government.
The GSCOP was implemented by the UK Government to encourage major UK supermarkets to treat suppliers fairly. This course's aim is to understand it and keep up-to-date with its implications.
Westminster Business Forum are hosting a seminar to discuss the priorities ahead for Government's forthcoming industrial strategy, which is expected to focus on opportunities for improving long-term growth and innovation with the aim of making UK industry more competitive.
