Launch of FDF & SLR report on decarbonising heat to Net Zero

FREE event

As decarbonisation pathways for electricity are well understood, the research FDF and SLR are undertaking focuses on the potential for decarbonising heat in the food and drink manufacturing: how this can be done and what interventions are needed by Government to enable the transition to net zero by 2050.

The event on 7th May is being hosted at Dentons in London for up to 200 people, and will include key note speeches from Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Dentons, and then SLR with the results from our report.  To finish will be a cross-industrial sector panel including National Grid Gas, to debate the findings of the panel, ahead of forthcoming Government publications of the Energy White Paper and Heat Decarbonisation Roadmap.

Registration is from 09:30, for a 10:00 start, to finish at 12:30 with a networking lunch until 14:00.
