FREE event

Presented by Squire Patton Boggs. Simon Garbett and Mariyam Harunah will address some of the risks of third party claims typically faced by food and drinks businesses when products fail to meet legal, regulatory and/or industry standards, and/or present risks to consumers. In particular, the speakers will examine: (i) how such risks arise; (ii) the background of legal requirements for notification of product liability/safety issues, and the withdrawal or recall of food/drink products; and (iii) practical steps to avoid or mitigate against product liability and associated reputational risks, and to limit exposure when such risks have materialised.
