Ice Cream (IC)

The Ice Cream Association represents the specific interests of the ice cream manufacturing industry. The association deals with issues relating to ice cream including developments in relevant UK and EU legislation and guidance and their potential impact on the UK ice cream sector and acts accordingly to safeguard industry interests. The association also receives inputs from relevant FDF committees and from Euroglaces, the European ice cream association.

Committee Purpose

The purpose of the committee is to:

  • Monitor and disseminate developments and their potential impact on the UK ice cream sector through circulars and regular meetings.
  • Provide members with the facility to input to the work which FDF does to represent their interests through links with the FSA, Defra and other public bodies.
  • Be an active member of Euroglaces, the European ice cream industry association.
