Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF)

The FDF provides its members with a weekly summary of the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) alerts impacting food ingredients and products, which can be used as a horizon scanning tool to conduct risk assessments. It is presented by food category and highlighted when UK distribution is involved.

EU RASFF is a notification system operated by the European Commission to exchange information on identified hazards between EU Member States. It covers food products and ingredients as well as food contact materials.
