Tate & Lyle: Showcasing Fibre Innovation at the Dairy Innovation Strategies Conference
Tate & Lyle showcased fibre fortification in dairy, highlighting PROMITOR® Soluble Fibre’s role in taste, texture, and nutrition.
Tate & Lyle participated in the Dairy Innovation Strategies Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, in April 2024 to showcase how fibre can enhance the taste, texture, and nutritional benefits of dairy products, whilst reinforcing its leadership in fibre fortification.
With increasing consumer awareness of gut health and the importance of fibre, the event provided an opportunity to engage food manufacturers and nutritionists on strategies to close the fibre gap. By demonstrating innovative fibre-enriched dairy solutions, Tate & Lyle aimed to inspire reformulation efforts in the dairy industry.
Tate & Lyle took an active role in the conference as a speaker, and roundtable host. The company presented insights on fibre fortification in dairy, emphasising fibres role in supporting gut health and meeting evolving consumer preferences.
Tate & Lyle successfully engaged with over 200 industry professionals, advocating for and reinforcing its thought leadership in fibre fortification. The company served more than 150 prototypes, which received positive feedback from attendees who tasted them.
A live quiz during the roundtable further validated the concept, with 85% of participants expressing confidence in the market potential of fibre-fortified dairy snacks.
Through this initiative, Tate & Lyle engaged with manufacturers and nutritionists on the importance of gut health and higher fibre diets, whilst strengthening its relationships with key industry stakeholders and showcasing its expertise in combining innovation with practical solutions for healthier dairy products.
