Bon Accord: Adapting to HFSS

Founded in 1903, Bon Accord makes premium soft drinks. The introduction of HFSS restrictions in England prompted the brand to review the recipes, with a focus on the sugar content and the base ingredients. Using funding from the Reformul8 Challenge Fund, the cloudy lemonade product has been reformulated to contain 44% less sugar and become HFSS compliant. The learnings from this have paved the way for further reformulation of different flavours.
