The FDF Awards are the annual celebration of talent, innovation and excellence in the food and drink industry. The prestigious event shines a spotlight on the amazing achievements of both companies and individuals right across our sector.

Each year, the FDF Awards bring together industry leaders for an unforgettable evening celebrating the diversity, dynamism, and dedication of our industry.

In 2026, we’re thrilled to be hosting the ceremony at the iconic Troxy – a venue which has been playing host to some of London’s most extraordinary events since 1933.

SME Emerging Business

The Gym Kitchen, founded by Segun Akinwoleola, offers affordable, high-protein, macro-friendly ready meals that combine convenience with quality ingredients and bold flavours, aiming to make healthy food accessible nationwide.

Apprentice of the Year – Joint winner

Alexander Austyn, Packaging Developer Apprentice and Gabby Dineen, Food Technical Apprenticeship, Unilever and The Magnum Ice Cream Company.

Sustainable Packaging Initiative

The Compleat Food Group, a leading UK food manufacturer, has eliminated 110 tonnes of plastic annually and reduced CO2 emissions by 430 tonnes per year by removing plastic trays from its pork pie packaging through automation technology.

Nutritionist of the year

Dr Sue Gatenby has led a transformative 20-year career at PepsiCo, where she built a nutrition science team from the ground up in Europe and spearheaded major initiatives like the Global Nutrition Criteria.

Ramsden International is a leading British wholesale exporter with a 79-year legacy, supplying over 25,000 grocery products to more than 650 customers across 130 countries.
