New higher in fibre products launched in 2023

Topics

In 2023, KP Snacks demonstrated their commitment to the FDF Action on Fibre pledge by launching two new products that are a source of fibre, as well as introducing smaller, snack-sized packs of their popular peanut varieties.

New products

KP Snacks’ new product launches were part of the Flavour Kravers and Butterkist ranges:

  • Flavour Kravers Coolin’ Sour Cream & Chive Peanuts: Available in 140g packs, these peanuts offer a tasty sour cream and chive flavour while also being high in fibre. The packaging includes a fibre message to highlight this nutritional benefit.
  • Butterkist Crunchy Hazelnut Flavour Toffee Popcorn: Available in both 155g and 70g packs, this popcorn variant provides a delightful hazelnut flavour and is also a source of fibre. The packaging features a fibre message to inform consumers of its nutritional content.

Both products were backed by either in-store promotional activities or media campaigns in 2023.

New pack sizes

New single, snack-sized packs of KP Original Salted and Dry Roasted Peanuts were launched.

Both products are now available in 30g single packs, catering to consumers looking for a convenient on-the-go snack or an afternoon pick-me-up. The packaging prominently displays a "high in fibre" claim, emphasising the nutritional value of the products.

By introducing these new products and packaging sizes, KP Snacks has made it easier for consumers to enjoy their favourite snacks while meeting their fibre intake needs.
