Simon has been an environmental consultant for over 20 years, advising public and private clients on matters of waste management, the circular economy, sustainability and life cycle assessment (LCA). He has a broad knowledge of the circular economy and sustainability, developed through diverse project experience that has included a series of projects for the European Commission, building evidence bases for Green Public Procurement standards. As a technical director at SLR, he is increasingly looking to incorporate considerations around social value in his work for clients, including in their pursuit of more sustainable procurement practices.
