Amy Glass - Head of UK Diet and Health Policy - FDF

Amy headshot 2.jpg As FDF’s Head of UK Diet and Health Policy, Amy leads policy development and engagement in diet, health and nutrition. Amy provides leadership and insight on governments’ approach to diet and health policies as they impact the food industry and builds and amplifies the FDF vision of how the industry can support the nation’s health. This includes advising companies on scientific, technological, regulatory and political developments in respect of these policies and promoting industry’s work to wider stakeholders, including government officials and NGOs. Amy is a Registered Nutritionist and a Nutritionists in Industry committee member.

Louise Allen - Senior Diet & Health Executive - FDF

Louise 2.jpg With over two decades of experience at FDF, Louise helps promote the food industry position on diet and health to stakeholders and policy makers.  Louise works with a range of food and drink manufacturers to help them interpret scientific and regulatory developments in diet and health policy, including most recently on LHF advertising and HFSS promotional restrictions and on the UK soft drinks industry levy.

Lewis Wallace - Regulatory & Nutrition Affairs Advisor - Campden BRI

Profile image Lewis is a Regulatory & Nutrition Affairs Advisor in the Global Regulatory Affairs team at Campden BRI, advising on a range of topics including UK/EU/USA legislation and global nutrition policy, with experience writing on these topics for peer-reviewed journal articles, government research projects, book chapters, client-facing technical documents, white papers, and guidance documents. He regularly presents on Campden BRI training courses and at a range of industry and academic events on the topics of nutrient profiling, High Fat Sugar Salt (HFSS) legislation, ultra-processed foods, and front-of-pack nutrition labelling.

Emma Kinsman - Senior Nutrition Manager  - Danone 

Emma is a Senior Nutrition Manager at Danone UK & Ireland, where she focuses on nutrition strategy, governance and health policy engagement across a diverse portfolio including dairy and plant-based products.

Emma brings extensive experience in nutrition science and medical affairs within the food industry. She works cross-functionally to shape and implement nutrition strategies, supports product reformulation initiatives, and leads on the translation of scientific evidence into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams and external stakeholders. 

Emma holds a MSc in Clinical Nutrition and is a Registered Associate Nutritionist, with a strong track record in evidence-based communication and scientific engagement across both UK and international settings.

Hannah Theobald - Senior Principal Scientist - Mars Wrigley

Hannah is a Senior Principal Scientist at Mars Wrigley where she leads on health and nutrition for the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs function, across Europe and Central Eurasia.

Hannah has over 20 years of experience working as a nutritionist within the food industry. She has led global nutrition teams, led the design and implementation of nutrition strategies design and led on nutrition research, research translation and scientific engagement activities.

Hannah is a Registered Nutritionist with a BSc and PhD in Nutrition from King’s College London.  She is also a recipient of the FDF Nutritionist of the year award (2023).
