Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF)
The FDF produces a weekly member-only summary of the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) alerts impacting food ingredients and products. This can be used as a horizon scanning tool to conduct risk assessments. To support members it is presented by food category and highlighted when UK distribution is involved.
EU RASFF is a notification system operated by the European Commission to exchange information on identified hazards between EU Member States. It covers food products and ingredients, as well as food contact materials.
